From Deepika Padukone Dosa to Dhoni Kichdi, you will come across such restaurant joints from around the globe naming their signature dishes and drinks after the celebrities of Indian origin. 

But, as they say there's two sides to every story, read everything below for what it means to find inspiration or contempt someone?

1. Size-zero Pizza aka Kareena Kapoor Khan

Back when Kareena Kapoor Khan stunned the world through her Size-zero figure, an Italian pizza outlet in Delhi came up with this special pizza recipe of thin crust,topped with diced chicken,low fat cheese among other's. 

 2. Deepika Padukone Dosa and  Parantha Thali

Even,Deepika had tweeted about it and her husband Rannveer Singh said that he will eat it. Dosa Lab in Austin, Texas at the United States of America and another restaurant in the UK have named a dosa after her, owing to her growing global fandom. Also, in Pune they serve Deepika's name paratha thali.

3. Shoiatibini aka Akshay Kumar

A resort in Oman named their cocktail after his character's name while he was shooting there for his movie ,Once Upon a Time in Mumbai Dobara.

4. Chicken Sanju Babu aka Sanjay Dutch

A restaurant at Mohamad Ali serves,Chicken Sanju Baba after he paid a visit there and suggested that same recipe .

5. Bholi Bhali Punjaban aka Richa Chadda

A lounge in Mumbai,launched a cocktail after her famous character's name in her movie from Fukrey and Fukrey Returns.

6. Kapoor Scion aka Ranbir Kapoor

Ranbir Kapoor during the promotion of his movie, Rajneeti had visited an eatery at Chandigarh,after which the owner not only served this chicken dish but also named it after him.

7. Huma Qureshi's Favourite 

A restaurant in Italy named a vegetarian food item with assorted vegetables cooked in a minimum oil,after her usual choice of order.

8. Priyanka Chopra Milkshake 

Millions of Milkshake in West Hollywood,after her hit song Exotic,named a milkshake after her made up of banana,almonds,caramel sauce,cannula ice-cream and a splash of ginseng drink.

9. Mallika Shake aka Mallika Sherawat

The first bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat to have a milkshake named after herwas  by the milkshake bar Millions of Milkshakes in West Hollywood ,which is made using  strawberries,blueberries,raspberries,blackberries topped by a chocolate sauce.

10. Dhoni Kichdi to Harbhajan Handvo

A restaurant in Gujarat serves the special Motera thali named after popular cricketers which is 5 feet long.

While reading through this write up, we might see this trend as as a marketing gimmick while for other's it's about being inventive and clever. But in all that,we need to draw a line as  for the sake of finding unique names we might objectify someone or something.Thus, we have to understand a thing called as ethics and morality.

At times it's about using female's actors name in an objectionable and nasty way to sell food items. In case, you missed it, a Delhi based restaurant was selling mock meat in the name of,'Sunny Leone chaap' and 'Miya Khalifa Chaap'. Again, some people find this is highly disrespectful and sexist while other's might regard it as  nothing .

Also, back in 2015, two goats named after Bollywood Actors,Shah Rukh Khan and Salman Khan were displayed for sale in Uttar Pradesh goat market with the price range between Rs 50,000 and Rs 100,000 respectively.

So, let me ask you simply is it being innovative or obnoxious?
