This lockdown is not any different from the previous one,especially for the younger generation to watch the popular series and movies streaming on Netflix or Amazon Prime,as a means of entertainment and partly to curb the border domestic while being stuck at home.

Well,this time around, broaden your horizon into the world of our distinct Nepali series which you can enjoy with your joint or nuclear family or relish in your own company.

And,nothing beats the popular 'Mahajodi' tele-series that is easily available on their YouTube channel titled as,' Maha Sanchar' which even after so many year's remains relevant,coated with strong social message ,makes you think, cry as well as tickle your funny bones up to a point wherein your pulses race.

Among a large pool of choice, here's the curated list of some of my favourites. Let's see if it matches with your's or not?

1. Dashain

If you know,you know, but to those who haven't watched it,you are in for a treat.As, the title suggests the story revolves around the festivity of Dashain,Peon 'Bhaire's character and at the end the social message which it delivers is very profound. 

2. Laal Purja

Another hit tele-series,showing issues of land ownership and policies with naive characters like 'Dhurvaram/Talsingh' getting duped and betrayed by 'Ganshyam dai' time and again shows the harsh reality of life.

3. Ticket no. 216777

A horror genre flick made ahead of time with full of surprises and how can we forget the song, 'Ghaas katne khurkera,aayo jowan hurkera' ?

4. 15 gatey 

The intriguing storyline packed with humour,talks about the intercaste marriages to the youth's greed for money and everything in between.

5. Banpale

This one might surprise you but somehow the show's representation of characters, especially Saduram echos with the leaders of our country and to see the resemblance you have to watch this gem.
