In the light of the pandemic, the District Kaski Court,by means of audio-visual has been taking testimonials from the defendant's, in relation with various case hearing.

A month ago, Nil Paneru ,the Information Officer of the district Court had circulated a press release regarding the court services in the midst of the pandemic,and has been continuing till date.

The main highlight in the notice was the provision of virtual technology system to record the accused expressions and also extend their deadline from several court cases from murder to vandalism. 

Later,there was a PCR testing for 113 people working in the court from the  honourable judges,lawyers to the staffs of the district government lawyers office,Kaski.

In the resut,12 staffs including one judge had been detected with the virus. 

Only,after few days the work resumed and they again issued a notice with the same components as the previous one.

The Honourable Judges of Kaski District Court, Shri Krishna Bhattari,DandapaniSharma,Narayan Prasad Poudel and Dev Prasad Yogi using videoconferencing technology presented with an arraignment to seven defendant's of four different cases, which were registered at District Police Office,Kaski and Ward Police Office, Baidam respectively. 

The other session was conducted by the Honourable Judge, Devprasad Yogi using the audio-visual technology, heard the discourse put forward by the law businessman.

Honourable Judge, Dandapani Sharma along with the staff Anil Baral through virtual medium took confessions from the people who were pressed charges for 'Vehicle breakage'.

Another hearing on 'homicide'(murder intent)in which Honourable Judge Krishna Bhattarai heard stories and took statements from both the sides - the victim's family to the opponent who was arrested by the WardPolice Office,Baidam. 

Meanwhile,the district court while utilising the technology has also taken into accounts of writing down the culprits statements in the coming days too and subsequently has pushed the due date.
